Sources for D24 confirmed that the Iranian militias have delivered the Shiite Azan (call for prayer) in Aiyash town in the western Deir Ezzor countryside.
According to the sources, the Shiite militias have established their own place of prayer in the town, and delivered the Shiite Azan in the town in the open.
The Shiite Azan was delivered in Aiyash town after it had been sounded in several cities and towns of Deir Ezzor countryside, including Al-Bukamal city and the villages near Deir Ezzor city.
The Iranian militias have recently been seeking to spread the Shiite Azan throughout the areas they control in Deir Ezzor.
It is noteworthy that Iran, through its militias, has been seeking to spread the Shiite faith by various means among the people of Deir Ezzor province, having created offices for Shiism in all major cities of Deir Ezzor to urge people to follow the Shiite faith in return for financial and food temptations.
