DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
The DeirEzzor24 network monitored the closure of most shops in the city of Al-Mayadeen, east of Deir Ezzor, due to the difficult economic conditions that residents are suffering from, and their inability to purchase most basic materials and other markets.
Among the reasons that led to the closure of these stores were the procedures of the Assad regime’s checkpoints and the Iranian militias deployed in the city. They mainly contributed to these stores closing their doors and trying to sell them for the purpose of immigration.
The city of Al-Mayadeen witnessed a significant decline in buying and selling activity, due to the deteriorating living conditions that the majority of the population suffers from.
