Covid-19 infections rate increased among residents of al-Mayadeen city. And many cases were transferred to Deir Ezzor city center due to the lack of medicines and care amid Assad regime’s negligence of prevention measures to reduce the spread of the virus.
People continue to make gathering in front of official departments and markets without abiding to measures of social distancing and wearing masks. People also can’t pay for sterilants due to their high prices and difficulty to find them, as the price of a bottle of sterilant is 1000 Syrian pounds, which portends a health disaster in the city. Health centres and hospitals now can not manage more Covid 19 cases as they lack supplies, respirators, oxygen cylinders and nursing care beds.
