DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
DeirEzzor24 correspondent said that the Ghadhban family confiscated homes belonging to civilians in the Harabish neighborhood and the village of Al-Jafra in the city of Deir Ezzor.
He added that “Hassan al-Ghadban,” a leader in the Fourth Division, and “Raed al-Ghadban,” head of the Ba’ath Party branch, prevented civilians from entering their homes adjacent to the homes of the al-Ghadban family, under the pretext that they were military locations.
He confirmed that “Raed al-Ghadban” placed barriers at the entrances and prevented any civilian from entering his house, and gave the civilians a choice between two things: either they sell their homes to al-Ghadban at a price determined by the al-Ghadban family, or it remains a military zone to which they are prohibited from entering.
“Al-Ghadban” family works in the field of drug trafficking, fuel smuggling and land grabbing, in addition to bribery and corruption, and enjoys support from the Assad regime and Iran.
