DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
Today, the SDF reopened the river crossing to the city of Al-Ashara on the second bank of the Euphrates River, east of Deir Ezzor, hours after it was closed, according to a DeirEzzor24 network reporter.
According to the reporter, the SDF temporarily closed the crossing yesterday, against the backdrop of attacks by Assad’s forces and tribal fighters east of Deir Ezzor.
The aforementioned crossing shortens the time, distance, and hardship of the people of the eastern countryside, who are forced to use the western countryside crossings and pay high sums to cross to the city of Deir Ezzor and its countryside, “west of the Euphrates.”
