DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
Conferences of agricultural and livestock associations began in areas controlled by the Assad regime in Deir Ezzor Governorate, according to a local reporter of DeirEzzor24.
According to the reporter, the conferences included an evaluation of the work of the associations during the past year, and the initial meetings witnessed mass resignations of most of the associations, which were rejected by the governor of Deir Ezzor.
He added that the reason for the resignations was the collapse of these associations due to the lack of government support, the corruption of agricultural units, the high cost of resources and production requirements, and security interference in everything small and large.
He pointed out that during those meetings, which included more than 100 agricultural and livestock associations, the demands focused on providing fuel, fertilizers, pesticides, seeds, and fodder cycles.
It is worth mentioning that what distinguishes these conferences is the establishment of a security study by all the security branches for each member of the so-called General Secretariat of each association, which numbers between 7 to 10 people, which is considered an opportunity for the elements of the security studies to impose royalties.
The existing conferences will be attended by a representative of the Union, the Agricultural Association, a representative of the Baath Party, and in the presence of all member farmers and livestock breeders.
