The price of filling drinking and regular water tanks in the city of Al-Bukamal, east of Deir Ezzor, has increased significantly in the past few days, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 network.
Our correspondent said that the rise is due to the frequent water cuts in Al-Bukamal neighborhoods, for several days, as the price of filling one barrel of river water reached 4000 Syrian pounds, while the price of a barrel of drinking water bottled from the Maizilah spring reached 8000 Syrian pounds.
The city of Al-Bukamal suffers from poor services and neglect of officials, in light of the domination of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards militia over it, and the dominance of military decisions over service matters.
