DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
The leadership of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards militia recently brought to Deir Ezzor a shipment of thermal and electronic surveillance cameras that work with central control units, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 network.
Our correspondent said that this shipment came due to the dust storms that struck Deir Ezzor recently, and the resulting attacks by Daesh on militia points in the Badia.
He pointed out that these cameras were distributed to the advanced points of the Iranian militias in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, and they were installed by electronic specialists brought by the Lebanese Hezbollah militia.
A special source from the T2 station told DeirEzzor24 that the shipment included cameras from the Iranian defense industry, working in conditions of lack of night vision and density of dust, in addition to other sensitive cameras that work with lasers to determine distances, installed on sniper weapons, in addition to night and day binoculars with two lenses that give high-resolution images.
A number of them have been installed on the T2 station communication tower, with a coverage range of more than 10 km.
It should be noted that Daesh took advantage of the recent dust storms on Deir Ezzor, and carried out attacks on Iranian militia points and Assad’s forces, killing and wounding dozens, which prompted the Revolutionary Guards to find new defensive solutions.
