Deir Ezzor 24 exclusive:
Sources revealed to Deir Ezzor 24 network that a dispute took place between a group of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia and elements of the military security forces of Assad regime in Al-Mayadeen city in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.
The sources pointed out that the dispute occurred after the military security set up a checkpoint near a headquarter of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard in Al-Mayadeen city east of Deir Ezzor.
The sources added that the dispute developed to the point that the military security forces and the Iranian militias pulled weapons on each other, and that the Iranian militias opened indiscriminate fire to stop the military security forces.
The Military security forces then sent two vehicles and arrested two members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard. The situation is still tense between the two sides until the moment of releasing the news.
It is noteworthy that the Revolutionary Guard militia dominates almost the entire city of Al-Mayadeen in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, and establishes military and security headquarters in the area.
