Amer Abboud al-Razzaq, a leader of the Russian proxy Jaysh al-Ashayer (tribes army) militia in Deir Ezzor, and his brother, Amer Abboud al-Razzaq, as well as a man and a woman who were with them were all killed in an ambush by Daesh on Deir Ezzor-Damascus highway yesterday, Sunday, May 17, 2020, according to pro-regime pages.
The pages reported the incident and called the dead “martyrs”, who were killed after Daesh set up checkpoints on Deir Ezzor-Damascus highway to search for elements of Assad’s forces and their militias.
It is indicated that Daesh has killed nearly 10 elements of Assad’s forces on Sunday (May 17th) after its limited control over Deir Ezzor-Damascus highway and searching the passing vehicles and passengers.
