DeirEzzor24 exclusive report
A large meeting was held yesterday, which included about twenty security and military leaders of the Iranian-backed militias from various sectors of Albukamal, Al-Mayadeen and the borders, according to what a special source told Deir Ezzor 24 Network.
The source said that leaders of the Popular Mobilization militia participated in the meeting to find a solution to the attacks in the desert, most notably the danger of the Tanf factions as they described them, and several issues were raised that will be discussed, including digging a large trench from the village of Hasrat to the Syrian-Iraqi border, in which digging machines from the support and engineering division will participate, placing thermal cameras and fixed anti-aircraft machine guns, deploying local elements to secure the points behind the trench, and setting up night barriers on important roads that the Revolutionary Guard militia and its factions cannot do without to move between their centers, the most important of which are “Ain Ali” and T2 towards the Homs desert.
A state of alert has dominated the Iranian-backed militias in Deir Ezzor, recently, due to Israeli and American threats.
