Sources revealed to Deir Ezzor 24 network that the Saudi International Company (Aramco) intends to invest oil fields and wells in Deir Ezzor.
According to the sources, “Aramco” started implementing practical steps in this field, where a group of the company arrived in an official mission to al-Omar oil field in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.
The same sources indicated that the investment will be made through contracts signed by Aramco with the U.S. government, whose forces control most of the oil and gas fields northeastern Syria.
Saudi Aramco is a giant company that works in the fields of oil, natural gas, petrochemicals and related works such as exploration, production, refining, distribution, shipping and marketing.
It is worth mentioning that the American administration, through its President Donald Trump, has repeatedly stated in recent days that it will invest the underground wealth of Deir Ezzor, Hasakeh, and Raqqa, in a clear challenge to Assad regime, the Russians, and Iran.
