Today, Assad’s forces arrested dozens of young men from Deir Ezzor for the purpose of forced conscription, Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent said.
According to our correspondent, the campaign of arrests affected the students who do not have a compulsory service deferral papers, and dozens of the National Defense Militia, in Deir Ezzor city.
From time to time, Assad’s forces carry out campaigns of arrests for the purpose of forced conscription, which is a way to extort money from citizens, who pay bribes to have their sons’ situation resolved, or to have their sons exempted from service.
