Last evening, Saturday (June 27), a fight broke out between two groups of the national defense militia in al-Mayadeen city, Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent said.
The correspondent noted that the reason behind the fight was a dispute between the two groups over stealing a caravan from one of Assad regime’s public departments in al-Mayadeen city, in order to sell it as scrap.
Following the fight, according to our correspondent, the military police in Al-Mayadeen set up checkpoints in the streets of the city, arresting all who did not have identity cards.
It is indicated that the National Defense Militia is known for its bad reputation in Deir Ezzor province due to its evil acts, including drug dealing and trafficking, looting, and forgery.
