A meeting, the second of its kind after the recent airstrikes on Deir Ezzor province , was held yesterday in the State Security Branch building in Deir Ezzor city, according to a local reporter of the DeirEzzor24 Network.
The source said that the meeting included the Russian general known as “Konstantin” and the known “Hajj Askar” representing the Revolutionary Guard militia in the region.
He added that the Russians demanded the deportation of all Iranian points and headquarters near Deir Ezzor military airport, the development building in the Harabesh neighborhood, the human resources building from the employees neighborhood, and the Iranian kitchen near the Transportation Directorate on Port Said Street.
The Russian forces had taken the same step five years ago, and succeeded in removing all the headquarters of the Iranian-backed militias from the six villages east of the Euphrates under the control of Assad’s forces, and placing them under the control of the Fifth Corps of the First Russian Division under an agreement with the international coalition.
