A DeirEzzor24 network reporter said that the security of the Fourth Division recently set up a new checkpoint at the (Homs-Dumair) junction in Deir Ezzor province.
Our local reporter continued that the checkpoint has become a source of worry for travelers, increasing the burden of travel, as checkpoint personnel carry out careful inspections that include personal bags and clothing, and the Pullman bus needs to stop for about an hour to continue on its way.
The Fourth Division applies authoritarian practices to families and travelers, intending to force them to pay sums of money to facilitate their passage.
