A state of tension and anticipation prevails in the villages and towns in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor , inhabited by the Busayra clan, forthe Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia is trying to enter indide them through Abdullah Al-Shalash.
Many locals, in response, rose up in the face of this attempt by forming a local militia affiliated with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia, threatening major reactions against anyone who joins the Iranian militia.
On the other hand, a private source told the Deir Ezzor24 network that Muhanna Al-Fayyad, the sheikh of the Al-Busaraya clan, stands in the face of the Iranian project to subjugate the members of the Al-Busaraya clan, at the push of the Russian forces in Deir Ezzor.
The same source added that the commander of the National Defense Militia in Deir Ezzor, Firas al-Iraqiya, publicly challenged the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia, and instructed a number of members of Al-Busaraya clan to kill everyone proven to have volunteered for the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia in those areas , saying, “Who will resort to me?” After killing whoever is proven to have volunteered for the Revolutionary Guard, he will be safe, and I challenge anyone who can arrest him.”
It is worth noting that the positions of Al-Muhanna and Al-Iraqiya on the formation of the new militia affiliated with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia comes at the behest of the Russian forces, which seek to limit the expansion of the Iranian-backed militias in Deir Ezzor at the expense of their presence.
