DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
Yesterday, the Republican Guard of Assad’s forces closed Port Said Street in the city of Deir Ezzor, from the “Martyrs” Cemetery junction to the west, according to what a DeirEzzor24 network correspondent reported.
Our correspondent said that the reason behind this closure was the arrival of a high-ranking officer from the Republican Guard to the guard headquarters in front of the Pullman garage in the city of Deir Ezzor.
It is noteworthy that a number of Republican Guard officers were arrested by the military police for the purpose of investigating the case of theft and looting of the contents of the paper mill in the town of Al-Husseiniyah, along with the leader, “Fadi Al-Afees,” who is hiding from view.
