DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
In the past few days, the water level of the Euphrates River in Deir Ezzor has increased and its water has turned red due to mud resulting from torrential rains descending on the river basin, according to a local reporter of the DeirEzzor24 network.
In addition to increasing the flow from the Euphrates Dam to 400 m³/s, which also caused the water to become turbid and unsuitable for drinking, and the inability of the water stations to filter due to the mud.
At these times of the year, the rivers in Syria witness overflowing as a result of the melting of snow on the mountaintops, which negatively affects drinking water in Deir Ezzor, due to weak infrastructure.
