DeirEzzor24 Network learned from private sources that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia had removed the commander of a local militia affiliated with it in Al-Bukamal city, east of Deir Ezzor.

The sources said that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia dismissed Abu Issa al-Mashhadani, the commander of the 47th Regiment militia of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia, after a major dispute between him and Haj Askar, the commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia in Al-Bukamal.

Abu Issa was removed from the leadership of the 47th Regiment militia, and his cousin Atallah Abu Awad was appointed in his place, temporarily, until someone was appointed permanently.
