DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
A DeirEzzor24 network reporter said that departments affiliated with the Assad regime in Deir Ezzor Governorate are now charging their fees in dollars.
According to the reporter, the fee for external birth registration of a child in Lebanon amounted to $100, paid at the Central Bank according to a notification from the civil registry, and $100 to record the loss of the flag service book, paid according to a notification from the Euphrates Recruitment Division in Deir Ezzor.
These measures by the Assad regime coincide with a historic decline in the Syrian pound, which exceeded the barrier of 14 Syrian pounds per dollar.
