Private sources revealed to the DeirEzzor24 network private information stating that Iranian militias grow the narcotic “hashish” in Deir Ezzor.
The sources said that the commander of the Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas militia is considered primarily responsible for cultivating the narcotic substance “hashish” in the desert of the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
They added that the cultivation of “hashish” by Iranian militias is concentrated in the Al-Mayadeen desert, south of Al-Rahba Castle, where it is grown among barley crops, and its cultivation has also spread in the desert of Al-Duwair and Salihiyat Al-Bukamal, east of Deir Ezzor, in the same previous way.
The Iranian militias attach great importance to cannabis cultivation, and it is considered one of the most important sources of funding for them in Deir Ezzor.
