The Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia is working to increase the number of its military positions in the desert and outskirts of the city of Al-Bukamal, according to information from a reporter of DeirEzzor24.
This increase in positions comes after recent military maneuvers in which live ammunition was used and lasted for about a week.
Our correspondent reported that the militia’s goal behind expanding its positions is to reinforce the Maizila desert with an additional 10 guard points and the Swaiyah desert with an additional 10 guard points extending to the village of Al-Hari. Additionally, they have established 5 points on the outskirts of the city of Al-Bukamal in the direction of the Green Belt.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia withdrew one element from each old point and gathered them within the new points.
