DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
The Agricultural Committee in Deir Ezzor province has set the minimum rent price for leasing lands in irrigation and non-irrigation sectors that were seized by the Assad regime under the pretext of terrorism, according to DeirEzzor24 network.
Our correspondent reported that the minimum rent for lands has been set at 175,000 Syrian pounds for first and second-degree relatives based on conditions that include documents from the civil registry (population) proving the family relationship. The remaining lands will be subject to public bidding in front of the province’s committees, the Baath Party, and the Farmers’ Union.
It is worth noting that the security branches have issued lists containing the names of hundreds of residents of Deir al-Zor province who are accused of terrorism for leasing their agricultural lands to the benefit of the Assad regime and the leaders of Iranian militias.”
