DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
The correspondent of Deir Ezzor 24 Network said that the shops and markets of the areas controlled by the Assad regime in Deir Ezzor Governorate have stopped dealing with securities in the denominations of 100 and 200 Syrian pounds, despite the absence of any decision to that effect.
He added that most shops do not accept this currency and only sell in denominations of 500 SP and above, while the internal transport bus remains the only one that accepts the denomination of 200 SP.
This comes after the great collapse of the Syrian pound in the past years, until the exchange rate of one dollar these days reached more than 7,500 SP.
