The US Central Command announced the killing of a prominent Daesh commander named “Hamza Al-Homsi” in a joint military operation carried out by the US forces with the SDF yesterday, in the village of Al-Hajna in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
According to the US forces’ statement, 4 US soldiers were wounded during that operation and were taken for treatment at a US Army medical facility in Iraq.
The real name of al-Homsi is “Bashar al-Badash,” and that night, the American forces carried out another security operation in the village of al-Sabha, east of Deir Ezzor, which resulted in the killing of a former member of Daesh called “Muhannad al-Saray al-Bakhit.”
