DierEzzor24 exclusive report:
The Agricultural Bank has started paying invoices for the cotton crop in Deir Ezzor at prices far from what was decided by the Assad regime government, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 Network.
Our correspondent said that the amount allocated by the Directorate of Agriculture is 4,000 Syrian pounds per ton, but it included many deductions that varied between the fees of the Agricultural Union, agricultural associations, reconstruction, the war effort, and the local administration, except for the criminalization of quality and moisture.
The farmers and the agricultural sector, in general, were negatively affected, due to the high prices, the costs of the agricultural seasons, and the taxes of the Assad regime.
