The Shahid Foundation announced the suspension of its work, today and tomorrow, in the city of Al-Bukamal in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, due to the obstruction of its work by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards militia, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 network.
Our correspondent said that the Foundation suspended its work after the Revolutionary Guards militia prevented the Foundation’s “Service” bus from entering the city of Al-Bukamal without obtaining a mission from the Friends Committee, while they were passing through the common checkpoint at the village of Ashayer.
Shahid Foundation in Deir Ezzor is run by the wife of the commander of the National Defense Militia in Deir Ezzor, “Firas al-Iraqiya”, called “Manar al-Asaad”.
