Three days ago, the car of the Secretary of the Baath Party branch in Deir Ezzor, Raed Al-Ghadban, was attacked by a group of young men, which led to the car breaking and wounding its driver, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 network.
Our correspondent said that at 2:15 p.m. last Friday, ten young men, near the “Hammoud al-Abed” roundabout in the al-Qusour neighborhood of Deir Ezzor city, attacked the car of “Al-Ghadban” after they stopped the car and beat it with sticks and stones, making them think he was in it.
According to private information obtained by Deir Ezzor 24 network, the attack of the young men on the “Ghadban” car in broad daylight was for reasons related to the honor case, which prompted him to conceal the incident and an attempt to cover the issue and not prosecute the perpetrators for fear of scandal and criminal prosecution.
The Baath Party branch in Deir Ezzor is considered the supreme political leadership of the Assad regime in Deir Ezzor, and most of its leaders are characterized by the suspicious relations they obtain from exploiting their positions.
