Today, Deir Ezzor province witnessed two drowning cases of two children, in two different areas, east and west of the province, according to activists.
The 10-year-old child “Bassam Ahmed Al-Hussein Al-Manady” drowned in the Euphrates River in the town of Jazarat Al-Milag in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, this afternoon, and searches for his body in the river are still ongoing.
The child, “Omar Muhammad Al-Sayer”, 9 years old, drowned in an irrigation canal in the city of Al-Quriya, east of Deir Ezzor.
It should be noted that with these two drowning cases, the number of drowning victims, especially in the Euphrates River in Deir Ezzor, since the beginning of the summer, has risen to more than 20, most of whom are young men and children.
