DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
There has been a noticeable increase in the prices of popular foods (beans, falafel, hummus..) in the city of Al-Bukamal in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 network.
Our correspondent said that the price of a kilo of beans reached 8000 SYP, and a kilo of chickpeas was also a boat of 8000 pounds, and the price of a falafel disc reached 100 Syrian pounds.
He added that the reason for this rise in the prices of popular foods in Al-Bukamal is due to the raising of the income tax by the city’s Supply Department.
Popular foods are considered a haven for the people in light of the economic crisis afflicting Assad’s areas of influence in Syria as a whole and Deir Ezzor in particular.
