DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
The wheat crop supplies in the Assad regime-controlled areas in Deir Ezzor, as of yesterday evening, amounted to about 20 tons, of which 9 tons are in the center of Deir Ezzor city and the rest are in the Al-Mayadin and Al-Bukamal centers in the east of the province, according to what the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 network reported.
Our correspondent said that the Al-Bukamal and Al-Mayadin centers announced that the places to accommodate crops were full, and instructed the coming cars loaded with wheat to divert their destination to the city center of Deir Ezzor.
According to the results monitored by the Deir Ezzor 24 network, the proportion of supplies has not exceeded 30%, so far, in relation to the expectations set by the Economic Committee in Deir Ezzor Governorate. Production by the end of the 2022 season is 50,000 tons at best.
In the same context, the Ministry of Agriculture in the Assad government announced that the governorates of Hama and Aleppo had surpassed the amount of 100,000 tons in wheat supply for each governorate several days ago.
The decrease in wheat supplies from Deir Ezzor province is due to the smuggling and storage of wheat by the influential in the Assad regime and the pilgrims of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia, led by Hajj “Kamil” and Hajj “Askar”.
