DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
The Fourth Division expanded its activities in smuggling operations in Deir Ezzor, using agricultural roads between the towns of Al-Hussainiya, which is under the control of the Assad regime, and Al-Je’ah, which is under the control of the SDF, west of Deir Ezzor, according to a special source of Deir Ezzor 24 network.
The source added that the Fourth Division’s checkpoints are now entering cars into the areas under the influence of the Assad regime, coming from the SDF areas, by imposing a financial fee of one million and three hundred thousand Syrian pounds for each car, according to which the car is given a transit receipt that authorizes it to move between the two areas.
It is noteworthy that those agricultural outlets between the two towns are smuggling outlets, extending from the mill in the north to the Euphrates in the south, and smuggled materials such as oil, grain, sheep, cows, hay, basic and food items pass through, especially after their prices fell in the areas of SDF control after Caesar’s law was lifted from the region.
It is worth noting that the Fourth Division controls the trade and smuggling lines in that area, in addition to the military security and the Republican Guard on a limited level, and uses people to run its operations such as (Fadi Al-Afees, Suleiman Al-Batiri, Humaidan Al-Hayesh and Abna Al-Tair) with an average of ten Inter cars per day.
