The pace of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps’ military activities in Deir Ezzor province has recently increased. IRGC militias opened the doors to those willing to joing their ranks and have so far gradauated batches of fighters. A variety of weapons have been introduced, in addition to changing some commanders, and entering batches of pilgrims.
The Pakistani Zainabiyoun militia has graduated fighters affiliated with the Iranian Nasr Center, who are from the local elements from the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, who were assigned to operate in centers located in the villages and towns of the eastern countryside “Mahkan, Al-Ashara, and Al-Quriya”, while it recently opened the door to affiliation with local elements, similar to what the Hezbollah militia did, with the aim of attracting the largest group of popular support.
