Deir Ezzor24 exclusive report:
For 8 years, the city of Subikhan and the villages of “Ghariba, Al-Duwair, Dublan, Al-Kashma” in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor have been deprived of electricity, despite the return of its residents since 2018, when Assad’s forces took control of the area.
The electric current did not reach the area, although the Electricity Company brought the current to the Iraqi borders, as the so-called Iranian pilgrims enjoy golden electric lines that are not subject to rationing in Al-Bukamal and Al-Mayadin.
The suffering of the people continues in light of the loss of the minimum requirements of life in the region, making electricity one of the most difficult dreams for them, while there are no signs of achieving it, so that they can dispense with the batteries needed to operate their devices, water purification plants, and others.17:08
