Construction of the new bridge resumed today in Deir Ezzor to replace the Iranian river barge and connects the town of Husseiniya with the city of Deir Ezzor, after stopping for several days as a result of technical errors related to the shit of the pipes and the type of backfill. Construction materials were brought to the area, including a huge iron pipes with a diameter of 3 meters.
Thus, the specifications of the bridge were changed with the cancellation of building a floating bridge connecting the pipes in the middle. The bridge was constructed entirely of pipes with a length of 220 meters, a width of 7 meters, and a height of 2.5 meters above the water level, with concrete blocks placed on both ends of the bridge.
