According to the correspondent of Deir Ezzor 24 Network, the city of Deir Ezzor has recently witnessed a great deal of activity in purchasing real estate, including houses and lands in the neighborhoods of Hawijat Saqr and Al-Baghiliyah.
Our correspondent said that the purchases are carried out through real estate offices for people from Al-Bahra, relatives of the representative and commander of the National Defense Militia “Firas Al-Jaham”.
He added that these properties are purchased for the benefit of the so-called “Hajj Abu Ruqayyah,” “Hajj Maxim,” and “Hajj Askar,” as well as the leaders of some local militias in Deir Ezzor.
According to one of the brokers, the pilgrims prefer the outskirts of the cities in search of tranquility on the banks of the Euphrates River away from the hustle and bustle of the cities, and to build “villas” isolated from the city’s residents as security measures.
