The child Zakaria Faisal al-Rasheed al-Abd al-Hassan from the town of Marat in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor and another child were killed, while two children, one of whom was Zakaria’s brother, were wounded by a shell explosion in the Harabish neighborhood, east of Deir Ezzor, which means that the number of children victims of explosions of ammunition and remnants of war has risen to 5 within 3 days.
These incidents come despite the control of the engineering battalion of the Russian forces over the area. They are stealing and looting houses and instead of carrying out their tasks and removing mines and unexploded ordnance.
