Residents suffer due to a severe fuel crisis for four days in the city of al-Mayadeen in Deir Ezzor. The Assad forces’ 4th Division caused the crisis by preventing people from entering fuel whether through traders or civilians transporting fuel for personal usage.
The 4th Division’ members at the al-Bal’oom checkpoint threatened to arrest and account all those whom the members seize fuel with while crossing the checkpoint.
The fuel crisis aggravates civilians’ conditions as winter approaches amidst increased demand of fuel especially as it is the major source of heating because of poor power situation, expensiveness, and lack of minimum means of life and jobs.
