The Assad forces’ security branches arrested dozens of young men over the recent days in the city of Deir Ezzor.
The branches intensified patrols and increased checkpoints in Deir Ezzor to arrest young men for compulsory and reserve recruitment. The campaign rather extended to include raiding the wanted young men’s houses.
The most prominent checkpoints at which young men are arrested are the Salama checkpoints, western Deir Ezzor.
The Assad forces arrest between ten to 15 young men at the checkpoints per day.
The Assad forces’ security services have launched this campaign for three months in public streets of Deir Ezzor.
