A child from the city of al-Mayadeen in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside sustained serious wounds in his face after a dog attacked him.
When the dog attacked the child, his father ran to rescue him, but the dog attacked the father and bit him in the thigh. The child was transported to hospital in al-Mayadeen for first aid.
