Tens of innocent civilians were martyred by Russian airstrikes on residential areas in the town of Al-Bulayl in eastern rural Deir Ezzor today. People were coming out of their local mosque after Friday prayer when Russian warplanes heavily bombarded the town.
Russian warplanes conducted air raids on Al-Dalou neighborhood near the municipality building in the town of Al-Bulayl, leaving at least 10 civilians dead. The town is devoid of any ISIS presence, and there are no headquarters inside it, DeirEzzor 24 correspondent in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor said.
In the same context, Russian warplanes bombarded the town of Al-Tabiya in eastern rural Deir Ezzor two days ago, claiming the lives of tens of civilians, most of whom were women and children.
On the other hand, a family from Deir Ezzor province have been killed by Russian airstrikes on Al-Amassi neighborhood in the city of Raqqa. Ismail Al-Dakhil from Deir Ezzor along with his wife and four children were martyred in Russian airstrikes on Raqqa, local sources told Deir Ezzor 24.
The death toll from Russian airstrikes on Deir Ezzor province today, has reached 36 martyrs.
It should be noted that Russian warplanes have recently increased their air raids on civilian targets in Deir Ezzor province as a retaliation against civilians after recent ISIS advance in the province. Entire families were massacred by Russian warplanes in villages like Al-Kharita, Al-Hussayniya and Muhaymida in western rural Deir Ezzor.
