On Monday, August 31, 2020, a Hezbollah militia military convoy entered the al-Intilaq al-Qadeem area in the city of Deir Ezzor.
The convoy stopped near the Farmex Company building. The convoy included a car transporting al-Haj Mahdi, the Hezbollah militia official of the eastern sector.

Al-mahdi remained in the place for an hour and checked the building and its perimeter with military commanders.
Al-Mahdi ordered closing the Hezbollah militia’s headquarters in the eastern sector of Deir Ezzor and limiting them to one headquarters like a security compound.
