Several SDF fighters have been killed and wounded in a series of Daesh surprise attacks against their checkpoints in the countryside of DEIR Ezzoor over the past two days.
A Daesh fighter blew up his motorbike bomb in the middle of an SDF checkpoint in Hawayej village, in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, on Sunday, killing three SDF fighters and wounding some others. On the other hand, two SDF fighters were killed and a number of others were injured near Suwaydan Jazeera after unknown men targeted their patrol. A similar attack occurred in Muheimidah, Hissan Jalamdah in western Deir Ezzor, which led to the death of six SDF fighters.
The attacks pushed SDF to close the road between Suwaydan Jazzeera town and other areas. In addition, they are attempting to impose a curfew in their held areas in eastern Deir Ezzor.
