A bombed car exploded yesterday, afternoon, in Ash-Shahil city in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, resulting in deaths and injuries of civilians.
D24 correspondent said:
“The VBIED targeted a car carrying workers from Al-Omar oil field near the Ash-Shahil specialist hospital, which resulted in the killing of all the workers and injuring of a number of civilians who were near the bombing site.”
Our correspondent added:
“Most of the workers, who were killed, are from Diban town, and they were on their way back from work in the oil field when the VBIED targeted their car.”
It is noteworthy that these bombings have been more frequent in the cities, towns and villages of Deir Ezzor, which are controlled by the SDF, in the absence of security measures which guarantee the safety of civilians and prevent such operations.
