Today, Sunday, sources for D24 network revealed that a prominent leader of Daesh Ahmad Al-Obaid known as “Abu Dujana Al-Zer” was killed in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.
The sources indicated that “Al-Zer” was killed by gunfire in Al-Baghuz camp in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.
According to the sources, the one who killed “Abu Dujana Al-Zer” is still unknown, some think that he was shot dead by the SDF.
The sources noted that Al-Zer might be killed by Daesh elements themselves, following the significant differences in the ranks of the organization.
Abu Dujana joined Daesh after the organization entered Deir Ezzor province, and held many positions in Daesh.
Abu Dujana Al-Zer considered the Free Syrian Army fighters as misbelievers and he also contributed to the execution of scores of fighters and civilians in Deir Ezzor Governorate.
It is indicated that Abu Djana is one of Daesh’s most important leaders, and one of the most bloodthirsty elements in the organization.
