The Iranian activity is increasing in Deir Ezzor, and permeates all aspects of civilian life, as well as the military scene in the city.
Deir Ezzor city has recently witnessed the renting out of some homes of displaced civilians for Iranians by the mayors of the Assad regime, according to D24 correspondent.
Our correspondent added that the houses are rented out without their owners’ knowledge, and that they are rented for sums of money range from 100 to 150 thousand Syrian pounds per year, where dozens of houses have been seized till now in al-Rusafa area and the first parking area in Al-Joura neighborhood.
He confirmed that the Iranian officials use these houses as propagation centers, cultural centers, kindergartens, relief distribution centers, and Iranian educational institutes with the aim of attracting the largest number of Deir Ezzor’s population to Shi’ism.
