On Thursday, August 13, 2020, a military convoy of the Hezbollah and Fatemiyoun militias headed from their posts in Deir Ezzor to the countryside of al-Raqqa governorate, through the western Deir Ezzor countryside (west of the Euphrates.)
The convoy included reinforcements that the militias sent to the Assad forces’ and Iranian militias’ posts in al-Raqqa countryside. The reinforcements included fighters, weapons, and equipment.
The convoy included 20 vehicles and trucks.
Suspected Daesh members launched frequent attacks on the Assad forces’ posts in the al-Raqqa and Deir Ezzor countryside. This explains Iranian militias’ sending reinforcements to the aforementioned areas.
