Sources revealed to Deir Ezzor 24 network that in the past few days, an Iranian militia called “al-Sayyida Zeinab Regiment” has arrived in Al-Bukamal city in the far east of Deir Ezzor province.
The sources added that a group of this militia, of about 100 elements, headed by a person named (Haj Mitham) arrived in Deir Ezzor 10 days ago, and participated in the last military campaign against Daesh in Deir Ezzor.
The same sources noted that the group has been deployed in the T2 station in the badiyah of al-Bukamal, and in the Belt area of Al-Bukamal city.
It is indicated that “al-Sayyida Zeinab” Regiment is an Iranian-backed militia, the majority of its elements are volunteers from Kafraya and Al-Fowaa villages.
