An episode from a new Syrian series, that is being shown on Assad regime’s television channels, showed the photo of the martyr “Rehab Allawi”, from Deir Ezzor, who was killed under torture in the cells of Assad regime, as a photo of an unidentified victim in the “detective” series.
The series, “An interview with Mr. Adam,” shows crimes investigated by an “excellent” detective who can detect any crime, no matter how complicated it is.
However, the smart director has missed that the people of Deir Ezzor do not forget their martyrs when he used the photo of martyr Rehab as a photo of an unidentified victim, who was killed by unknown perpetrator, while the truth is that the victim is a student from Deir Ezzor who was arrested by Assad regime after she raised her voice for freedom, and the perpetrator is Assad regime that tortured her to death.
Rehab Allawi is a Syrian activist from Deir Ezzor, born in 1989. She was studying civil engineering in Damascus when Assad’s intelligence arrested her in early 2013 because of her revolutionary activity. She was put in a prison of Assad and her family had not been able to know where she was arrested or any thing about her fate until 2015 when photos of detainees were leaked by a defecting officer known as Caesar, that time her family were able to recognized her body, where she was one of the torture victims in Assad regime prisons.
